Jemma chose the town of Mire, Texas as the ideal place to retire. She soon learns that she could have made a better choice. Less than a day after moving there, the town gossip, Mavis, has been murdered. Since the entire town's population are suspects in the murder, Jemma has been asked to lead the investigation to a murder that no one wants solved.
