Love, Hate, Deceit, Treason, Espionage, and Seduction. This book has it all!

Lady Bethany is beautiful, intelligent, brave, and outspoken, certainly not qualities found in most medieval women. She has dangerous ambitions that include nothing less than assassinating the King of England. However one enchanted encounter with Andrew, and suddenly her treasonous designs become clouded and much less important to her as she considers life with him as his wife.

Lord Andrew is powerful, handsome, and fiercely loyal. He rules his people with a strong hand and a tender heart. Only after he meets Bethany does he realize how lonely he’s been, however he doesn’t believe Bethany would be happy being isolated on his island. The only thing he can do is leave her, even knowing he’s breaking her heart, but he doesn’t see any other way. It doesn’t take long for him to feel the void his life is without her.

After being completely discarded, Bethany is driven to fulfill her long delayed destiny. As soon as he discovers what she’s done Andrew does the only thing that he can; follow her and either rescue her or die trying.

Together they can conquer the world, but separately they can almost destroy each other.
