Destiny

A genius mathematician develops an equation that has implications he hadn't counted on.  As Sterling's research draws to an end, he is reunited with his past world through an alumni reunion.  Reuniting with his old friends, Sterling finds out that time can have profound effects on people, and he learns he can't trust people he once knew and loved.   Information about Sterling's research catches the attention of different interested parties; who, in an attempt to gain control, place Sterling into a situation out of his realm.  A top female spy with the latest in technology represents the interest of the Vatican.  The Vatican desires control of the formula to give a new life to the mission of the church.  Showing that death is not random gives the Vatican the proof it has been looking for.  A trusted employee has tipped off the Mob as to the power of the formula.  Sterling's transition from a mostly solitary life with computers to being targeted by powerful international organizations is an adventure of a lifetime.   An adventure where Sterling learns who he can and cannot trust through twisted events of science, love, betrayal, unexpected friendships, and destiny.
