It was about midnight; King Beldam IV of the kingdom of Hush had just summoned his highest knights to a very important gathering. He was an impatient and ruthless king with a thirst for power and glory who always searched for opportunity to gain more wealth. “What is the status of the other four kingdoms?” he asked his knights. “They are all flourishing and very wealthy, my lord. The Kingdom of Annon just received seven ship loads of gold, silver and precious metals and the Kingdom of Hamlith is expecting a ship load of damsels from the west and also treasurable silk.” replied Bolloc who was the primary knight and usually spy out the wealth of the other four kingdoms. “What of Mondoon and Shale?” the king asked. “They are all doing really well with lots of horses, women and provision.” replied Bolloc as he stood reading from a scroll in his hand. “Men, the time has come for us to take charge of the other kingdoms. We shall be ruled by one king, ME. Gather the horses and the other knights and prepare for battle. This night we shall set out to claim the other kingdoms.” said King Beldam IV while gripping his fist. 2 nights ago, King Beldam had a dream. He was visited by a powerful evil spirit named Faux who had planted evil in his heart. The king was given a great vision that he will be the greatest and most powerful ruler ever in Grimora. So with greed in his heart, he hatched a plan on making this dream a reality.
