This is the story of Anvil Creede - Dragon Warrior.

The Long World war left Europe a godless desert. Crops destroyed, trees wiped out, rivers poisoned. Millions starved as the American supply line broke. The Russians closed their borders, China slammed its doors. Governments lost control, Europe entered a new dark age.

And even the Earth itself did Suffer.

In the moral abyss the Vatican saw an opportunity. Drawing on its wealth from Africa and Latin-America it offered food and hope. And all for the simple price of worship. And Cathism was born. Ruthless and despotic the virulent clerics spread like a cancer, stamping out all who voiced against them. The mills and work-houses were reopened and man's suffering was never greater.

But the Earth would endure no more.

From the simple and ancient Lore, the Earth produced a champion. A warrior to fight Cathism and its dark design. But the Cathist magi sensed the birth of the boy, a purge was ordered.

"Suffer not the child to live!"

Hidden in the depths of rural England, the Lore sent wards and protectors from beyond time to raise the child.

"From the dominion of the Vile!"
