This tale is based on the traditional folklore plot when a man turns into a bird and secretly visits a lady. In this story the daughter of Earl Mar was walking in the garden and saw a lovely dove. She promised its a golden cage, if it agrees to live with her. At night the bird turned into a handsome prince, who was turned by his mother-magician. The girl and the young man fell in love at first sight. So they secretly got engaged and lived happily for 7 years. The Earl's daughter gave birth to 7 wonderful sons and Prince carried them over the sea to his mother. But then the trouble came - Earl decided to marry his daughter to a wealthy merchant and promised to wring the bird’s neck when the lady has refused. However, Prince-dove has found a way to defend their love, using the magic of his mother.
