After learning the truth of what the Solar Flare project has become, General Delgado takes Dr. Burnett prisoner, and threatens Odin's life if he doesn't immediately cooperate with the Project's plans. Desperate to escape, Odin takes the only action he can which would allow him to face the hundreds of armed soldiers between him and freedom: he gives control of his powers to Wendell.
