When Reid learns his fatal illness was manufactured, he joins his ex, Julie, in trying to figure out who's responsible and how. Julie's been looking in to the illness since it took her sister five years ago, and has since acquired a new partner: Luc. As perfect as he is terrifying, Reid is unsure what to make of Luc, convinced he's either Julie's guardian angel, or a demon. But he might be their best shot of curing the illness, especially once they learn of its supernatural roots.
