And now with Elie around, he contemplates certain possibilities – like a protégé. So he dresses Elie (whom he called ‘Benoit de Villiers’) with a long black cape and yes, a tall black hat. And then he introduces Elie to his greatest invention – The Transmorgatron – a machine that allows all wishes to come true (well, at a big price).
