Encompassed in Hopelessness: a Journey of Faith to Find Hope

This world is hurting. Immorality, decadence, and violence are becoming accepted norms. We're surrounded by an unfaithful multitude living lukewarm lives devoid of purpose while an ever increasing number are dealing with pain, hardship, death and atrocities beyond what most could imagine.

What are we to do when we become lost in our despair? Crushed under our enormous burdens? After we've tried our best, wished our wishes, cried our waterfalls and yet continue to lack a much needed relief, we must stop focusing on self; stop relying on our own strength and understanding. We must make room for faith in God, believing that he holds a spot in heaven for those able to persevere in that faith throughout the painful trials of life. We must take solace in His power and grab hold of the hope that He offers as well as the freedom it brings.

We must choose to accept His grace, the much needed comfort that God has afforded each of us. We must then decide to live according to that choice.
