Six continents.
Twenty cultures.
A world filled with raucous festivals and building resentments.
Brute force against special mental abilities.
Ancient warfare versus the newest steam-weapons.

A series of murders and mysterious deaths shake the fragile peace of the United Empires (aka the Realm).
While the royals celebrate lavish balls and the citizens live their lives between the raucous monthly festivals, an underground organisation is getting ready to finally seize power. And to eliminate their mortal enemies, the Equimancers - the protectors of Balance and the mysterious Structure that envelops the whole of the continent. The society of Academy professors, all blessed with special mental abilities, investigate the murders and try their best to prevent the rise of a movement they hoped would never surface again.
Gradually seduced by the promise of power and money, Mordan, a well-meaning, but ambitious student, finds himself in the middle of the conspiracy, which infiltrates even the highest circles of society.

Meanwhile, on the undeveloped continent of Sarea, the ruthless Matriarch Vipra is waging war on the other tribes and the shamans of the Bone Temple. If she won, she would not only change the history of her own country, but also the future of all the six continents of the World.
