He called it the superscope. He'd built it with the help of a lot of sweat and hard work. His idea had been generated from an old pulp magazine story published by Ace Books generations ago that his father had read to him as a child. He never forgot the tale of a kingdom of people living in the surface of an atom.

Well modern science said that was unlikely as an atom would be more like a sun, than a planet. Besides which his superscope had revealed that the various levels of electrons were more equivalent to orbital planets, though quite a bit feistier. They could be in one spot one instant and totally somewhere else the next.

It took him some time to plot their courses, but with the help of NASA's super computer, thanks to his father, he had done it. He had also found out that with a bit of
adjustment to his superscope it could be used to shrink anything to any size possible.

Upset by his parents' announcement of a divorce Andy pushes himself to escape his family to Elektron, an electron world where he had spotted a beautiful princess.
He has the fantasy of being a hero and coming to her rescue against the monsters plaguing her people.

Little did he realize that a divorce is much simpler to handle than a horde of man-eating Terms, the size of trolls, with jaws the size of horses.
And now Andy has escaped to Elektron only to face a nightmare of man-eating proportions!
