Hooray For Bacteria

Yogurt has been in use since several centuries. Its discovery can be termed as an accident, because it was not usual for a consumable product to be formed by bacteria. And since bacteria is usually associated with negative effects, some people have a natural aversion towards yogurt.

But this is the good kind of bacteria we are talking about, and as we shall see later in the book, there are several health benefits that these bacteria can provide.
A Yogurt For Every Season
There are several types of natural yogurt available today. Different countries have different varieties of yogurt, which have different sorts of tastes. Some kinds of yogurt even have a slightly different process of formation, but all of them have the same kind of properties.

And more importantly, all of them have the same health benefits. Yogurt can be made from different sorts of milk. Usually, cow’s milk is the most preferred variety, since it is also the richest.  Other forms of milk, like buffalo, almond and coconut are also used to make yogurt.

Essential Home-made Remedies
There are many different health benefits of consuming natural yogurt on a regular basis, and this is the reason it has survived for hundreds of years.
First, yogurt contains lacto bacteria, intestines-friendly bacterial cultures that foster a healthy colon, and even lower the risk of colon cancer. Lacto bacteria, especially acidophilus, promotes the growth of healthy bacteria in the colon and reduces the conversion of bile into carcinogenic bile acids.
But it's not only your insides that benefit. Applying yogurt to you skin can help moisturize and remove or dramatically reduce blemishes including acne. You can also apply yogurt to your hair for some great natural, toxin free nourishment.
