You are not yet “More than a Conqueror” if you win over nakedness with clothes; hunger with food; poverty with riches, and sickness with health, etc.

In boxing, the strength of a fighter is usually erroneously judged by the power of his punches. This book explains that the real strength of the fighter is determined by his ability to remain standing after having received the best punch from his opponent. Faith is not at its best when it sends mountians packing.

If a believer has faith that can move mountains, the book is not asking him to stop in favour of the “best option”. It is however exposing the believer to the fact that even if a mountain doesn’t move, it is not the end of the journey, and that, interestingly, an adamant mountain can still give a believer a chance to register the ultimate victory—becoming more than a conqueror in the process.

This book calls believers to participate in scrutinising the options that usually present themselves when faith meets a mountain. In your spiritual journey, you will meet different types of mountains:
i) Obedient mountains—They obey immediately they are commanded to leave;
ii) Lingering mountains—They stay longer after they have been commanded to leave, and when they leave, they do so reluctantly (Patient faith is a necessity in this case).
iii) Defiant mountains—They defy the command to leave, they remain planted and give no sign that they may move (That a mountain has refused to move doesn't necessarily mean lack of faith).

In each of the three cases above, one will have to consider different options and engage a different spiritual gear.

After considering the possible options we have in response to mountains we may face in our spiritual journey, this book identifies one option that is better than sending the mountain fleeing. Actually, according to the Lord Jesus, faith that moves mountains is a 'small' faith (Matt. 17:20). Remember, however, that if you have faith that moves mountains, the book is not asking you to stop doing so.
