From the Brownsville slums of Brooklyn, New York and Los Angeles, California all the way to the Federal Penitentiary, the hourglass is ticking, the streets are watching, and Gangstaz gotta KEEP IT GULLY!
With Albert Anastasia roots and links to the Biggie Smalls vs Tupac rival, Brooklyn’s home of the legendary Mike Tyson is saturated with history…… Brownsville has a story to tell.
* REVIEW *
"Fallen Angel" is a story of the games that are played on the streets; some people reality. The characters in the book remind me of actual people that live & hang in the street of the five boroughs (NYC). I found myself constantly picking up the book to read at every opportunity that I could.
FruitQuan did an excellent job characterizing Hurricane the main character as well as the others (Mama Maxie, Pale Face etc). Hurricane reminds me of "Midnight" from Sistah Souljah's book "A Coldest Winter Ever". The story is written whereas you know Hurricanes every thought, whether you agree with those thoughts are not. So if you like a book with lots of family love, street hustle & action, fast money this is the book for you.
