Bound, gagged, and nailed to the wall, a young woman, who quickly becomes known as Sniper, watches as the old man she considered little more than a kindly customer slaughters her family in front of her. With two other men, the old man splatters arcane symbols on the ground around her and attempts to transfer his consciousness into her body. However, before he can finish, the very power that attracted him to her awakens. Sniper frees herself in a rush of metal and blood. After collapsing her house on top of the monster in human flesh, she escapes into the world not knowing what to do next. Sniper realizes that not only can she create any gun she can think of, but she's now nigh unkillable.

Hunter and Susi are two of the best Demon hunters in the country, probably because Hunter is what most would call a War Demon, and Susi is one of the only Devils allowed to walk freely on Earth. Together they track the monsters that have slipped into darkness and prey on the weak and oblivious mortals. Demons are made from emotion, the stronger the emotion, the stronger the Demon. Demons can also be born from events, called into this world when too many emotions collide and can't be separated.

The pair find themselves tracking a trio of Lust Demons who have begun to feed on humans, draining them dry and leaving them to die in the dark alleys they prowl. Everything seems to be going according to plan and, after a successful trap, Hunter binds two of the Demons and

Susi capers after the third. Suddenly, Susi comes under attack from a shooter that has access to remarkable bullets.

Forced into a deeper plot that none of them quite understand, the heroes must find a way to survive. And the Hand that guides them together, may not be a friendly one.
