Has gambling become a problem for you or someone you love? If it has, you are not alone. The National Council on Problem Gambling has found that as many as 8 million Americans and half a million teenagers have shown signs of gambling addiction. There is always hope and there are many resources for people who want to overcome the addiction to gambling that has resulted in so many troubles. Not every method or course of action will work for every gambler. If you are like me, you've tried a few such as GA and counseling, only to find yourself at some point sneaking back to the casino. Likewise, this short program is not a guarantee; however, if you can stop gambling for fourteen days, then you can probably make it to 28. If you can go 28 days without gambling, then a year free of gambling is a reasonable goal with its own reward. Join me on my 14-day quest to live gambling-free. If you are like me you love gambling, but you are too far behind to believe that you could ever win it all back. I know what it's like to win some and think I can do it again. I know what it's like to lose it all and then start planning the next time when I hope to win some of it back. If we are honest we will find that we have thrown away a lot of money over time with this way of thinking and will continue to do so unless we break free. Find real answers to the question of why we do this and start out on a new way of life that is free of gambling. My Fourteen Days program has helped me to become free from gambling by changing what I say, what I know and what I believe about gambling. I have to remind myself everyday of what I have written on these pages so that I don't return to the casino and the machines in search of the exhileration that I have become addicted to. I am sharing this with you because I know how much of a difference it can make in your life. I wish you all the best in your own quest.
