Getting Through Today

Love is unpredictable and sometimes unexpected. Detective Ocean Rose is on an undercover assignment that can either put her on the map or ruin her career. She's charged with the duty of getting close to the notorious criminal master mind Xavier Hawthorne. She's well trained in deciphering the lies from the truth, but Xavier Hawthorne isn't the ordinary criminal so bringing him down isn't as easy of a task as her superiors had led her to believe. Ocean soon finds out why it's so easy for Xavier when it comes to luring women in. He has the face and the body of a god and is so charismatic that even Ocean finds herself fighting the pull of the attraction that is between them. Ocean is faced with not only fighting her feelings for the man that she has to bring to justice but her faith in the judicial system as well. Her superior's aren't on the up and up about the details of the case that she's been thrown into and she finds herself making decisions that compromise who she is as a detective and as a woman.
