Mirana struggles to remember what the Wizard while she was under his spell did in hopes of aiding Mergadan and Tolatrom in finding Dursdan and his Gold Egg. Mirana’s mother fears that if Dursdan never returns, Mirana will be alone and tries to encourage her to find another option. Mirana, in helping a friend determine if a boy is related or not, discovers how closely the families of the Valley have become. She creates a way to track the family lines and helps change a law that will affect generations to come.
Tolatrom, Dursdan’s brother, has just become a Lord and has no idea how to manage his new House. He’s also facing resistance from the older Lords of the Circle who resent his position with a battle-seasoned dragon. This complicates his ability to search for Dursdan.
As these two Lost Souls struggle to find a way to bring Dursdan home, they discover things that will change life in the Valley forever.
This story is set within the first book of the series - Eggling - during the time that Dursdan is held captive in the Western Stronghold by the Wizard Aramel. If you haven’t had a chance to read the first book, you’ll find a coupon in Lost Souls for a free copy of Eggling. The coupon expires December of 2019.
