Growing pains

This book is about a young Afrikaans boy growing up in the forties. It is an autobiography spiced with humour and adventure. His naughty escapades are amusing and give us an insight into an era before you, the reader were born. During this time the Second World War became a reality and tension ran high between Afrikaners and Englishmen in South Africa. Oblivious to political affairs the children interacted happily with their peers on both sides of the language divide.
