In "He Shoots! He Scores!" a young boy named Fish turns 13 and it is discovered that he has Bipolar Disorder. Despite getting help, Fish realizes that his new high-school community isn’t as understanding and supportive as when he was young.  He calls on Iris the Dragon for help after realizing that negative stereotypes and attitudes about people with mental illness still exist in society.  This is a story about self stigma and family stigma and it emphasizes the importance of a society understanding the challenges faced by children who have a mental health condition.
