This book contains 40 rhyming poems that deal with failed love, solitude, alcohol, death and other closely related philosophical themes. Its a deeply artistic word-journey that dissects life's drama in a desperate search of pleasure, love, peace, companionship; wealth, adventure and thrill while questioning what these things mean to us even as we struggle to reach their acceptable standards. This is a collection of forty poems that deal with the subjects of Loneliness, drinking and death while visiting other philosophical themes closely related to this. They are very sentimental poems drawn from my own experiences where i directly or indirectly encountered situations and predicaments that stirred my emotions enough to pour them down in the form and arrangement i desired.
Everyone in life has suffered heartbreaks one way or another; be it failed love, family turmoil, friends betrayal or the state of our commercial, political and environmental world today-and each person has had their own direct or indirect experiences with alcohol whether good or bad-and finally, everyone has a silent obsession with mortality. The fact that we are all going to die some day leaves a small room in our conscious to ponder upon when and how it is going to happen. We hardly think about it but these are good questions to wrestle with every once in a while for only by accepting our human destiny can we be truly free to live each day with humility and kindness to others. My poems have thus condensed the relationship between a heartbreak, an alcoholic drink and death the result of which is a deeply artistic word-journey that dissects life's drama and looks for pleasure, love, companionship, wealth, peace, adventure, trouble and what all these things mean to us.
