Arthur’s school mate had failed to meet him in Sutton Park, again. This time though he didn’t mind, because he'd found a goblin there instead. She was ugly but friendly, and thought Arthur’s mints the best thing she’d ever tasted. He named her Holly.

From then on life got interesting. First Arthur had to hide from Holly’s family, because if they discovered that he knew about them, they would kill him. Then there was the magical door into the Otherworld, where the beautiful elf-like Sidhe blinded visitors, in case they were thieves. The troll was a problem, but there was a surprisingly simple solution, as long as you read the right book. Erif lived on an island in a vast underground sea, but dragons never lie so the trip had to be made.

It was after Erif's prophecy that things got bad. Holly was destined to be the last of her race, but suddenly the extinction of the goblins was just days away. It would take wits, courage and a good memory to save them, plus Arthur’s life too.

‘Hiding’ is an adventure, a story about a tabooed friendship and never giving up hope.
