His True and “Unveiled” Face! is both an educational and inspirational piece of work. It captures an honest attempt to explore the possibility of knowing what Jesus Christ might have looked like when he was on earth before his passion, crucifixion, and death. To keep it simple: The author put himself in the position of a “research artist” or an inquisitive “painter” who intended to create a portrait of Christ after much research but ended up re-discovering Him in pictures that already existed.  The motivation for this author’s search is contained in the preface.

This book delved into what is an elusively simple question: What did (or does) Jesus look like?  Also, it systematically and meticulously discusses some related issues, which often receive quick but unsubstantiated comments or responses from some people. This search is not limited to any scientific or historical presumptions, but rather a total and holistic search for the potential human appearance of Christ. The author employs a unique but multidimensional methodology to search for the “true face” of Jesus from biblical, theological, spiritual, historical, anthropological, social, as well as artistic perspectives based on his personal reflections, relevant scriptural scans, consultations, research, and theological deductions.

Aside from other notable discoveries (as discussed in its chapters), the unconventional, analytical, and multidimensional aspects of this exploration are among what distinguish it from other related works. Moreover, it reflects on and theoretically discusses the potential human personality and physical appearance of Jesus when he was on earth as a type that might have been “universal” as well as reconciles and unifies all peoples.
