History of Roman Empire

The Roman Empire has been considered as the most powerful cultural, economic, military, religious and political forces of the World of its time. It has been the largest empires in the history of the world. It had a territory composed of forty-eight nations in the 21st century. It had an estimated population of around seventy million people which comprised of around 21% of the world’s total population. The vast extent and the longevity of the Roman Empire had the lasting influence of the Greek and the Latin language, religion, culture, architecture, inventions, law, philosophy and governmental rules and regulations. Through the means of the European colonialism which was followed by the Renaissance; the Judaeo-Christian and the Greco-Roman cultures evolved.
