"Hollywood Nights" An action packed look inside the infamous "LAPD" by former officer. The story is a work of fiction and uses the Los Angeles Police Department as a backdrop setting. It is based on a grouping or amalgamation if you will, of actual events that have been altered to increase dramatic content that have actually involved officers of this department. Hollywood division officer Tommy Adams (antagonist) starts applying pressure on the brake pedal as he prepares to stop his old dodge van as it approaches the signal controlled intersection just a head, where the light as turned a brilliant LED red. Seated next to Tommy is his former Vietnamese/U.S. Marine was buddy now a fellow LAPD officer David Williams. Both had been heavily decorated warriors of that war I.E.: uncommon valor in the heat of battle types. They were certainly no strangers to death and killing. Tonight... on a warm and cloudless evening in Los Angeles they were off duty, and just like in Vietnam years earlier---they were again on another mission as they drove along the warm dark street of L.A. Flash Forward,,, A three-foot length of piano string wire---similar to the ones that Tommy had used in Vietnam to silently kill the enemy now was slowly draining every last bit of life out of the unfortunate motorist, In Vietnam it was a part of war, in Los Angeles it's called... Murder for Hire. For Tommy now, this was the point of no return, every ounce of decency and trust had now been instantly stripped from his being, His actions along with Williams' were about to compromise and taint every Los Angels police officer that had ever put on the dark blue uniform. In fact, the LAPD's reputation would never be the same afterwards. Tommy and David had seen to that, now that their mission had ended for this evening,
