Hope Dies: A Chronicle of the Apocalypse

John Leeds is a Michigan Army Reservist, stationed near Detroit when a strange sickness known as the Wildfire begins to spread across the globe killing millions. Assigned to help with disaster relief, things go from bad to worse, as the victims killed by the Wildfire don't stay dead. With the millions of recently deceased rising to devour the living he must fight to survive and lead a small group of survivors to what dubious safety they can find in a world where the hungry dead outnumber the living. Chronicling his experiences in his daily journal that is both personal and terrifying, Leeds struggles to cope with a world gone mad.
