With my entire lower jaw being broken in pieces and smashed out the back of my head along with one of my lungs being deflated leaving me barely able to breathe on my own, many thought that I would not live. Not long after I walked out of the hospital, several persons encouraged me to write my story. For nearly twenty years I wrote of my experiences in hope to be an encouragement to those who may read of my search for faith. When I awoke from my coma, I had a prayer in my heart to be able to help people in the same way that I needed help. Nearly fifteen years later, I enrolled in a college program for physical therapist assistant. Working at a nursing home directly after finishing my schooling, I took a random phone call from a recruiter looking for help at the first hospital where I was taken after my head-on crash with the semi years earlier in the town where I went to high school. I went to the interview and was hired to work there. After nearly two years I became acquainted with a therapist who encouraged me to travel with therapy work as a way to share my book with others. I do that now as I attempt to share my book with you.
