Jesus Christ is God Almighty the Creator of all things. And Jesus Christ died for our sins by shedding His holy blood on the cross when He was crucified to pay the penalty for our sins. "Thomas answered and said unto him My LORD and my God." Speaking about salvation the Bible says: "the gospel ... By which also ye are saved... how that Christ died for our sins ... and that he rose again the third day" "by grace are ye saved through faith" "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved." "whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Jesus Christ said "He that believeth on me hath everlasting life."
