This book is about telling and showing how the currently accepted regular everyday practices of Lawyers in America today is proving to be entirely too dysfunctional for the society. Today we now have a system which generates too much of its own business, often frivolous, ridiculous and absurd relative to the common sense of the everyday average citizen. Most persons in America today who are forced to deal with the legal system and lawyers probably feel they are being taken advantage of by the lawyers. Their activities, and procedures often delay the taking of timely, needed actions by and for the society; and they are certainly putting an undue economic strain and burden on the productivity and attention of individuals and society. Their current practices find and create so many victim categories with attendant “rights,” that the notion of personal responsibility has been practically totally eliminated or greatly emasculated. Much if not most, of what they impose upon society is either: unworkable, too expensive, or patently ridiculous. Somewhere, somehow, we will have to reduce the power and influence of Lawyers. We will also have to see to it that they do not continue to get so rich at our expense. If we do not rein in the Lawyers; our society will be in for dire consequences as the things which they have done and are doing to society are surely taking us to Hell in a Hand Basket.
