William Shakespeare is exasperated at the continued speculation doubting his authorship from actors, writers and historians. He is determined to counter the momentum that threatens to assail his reputation and assign his masterpieces to the memory of another. He decides to take advantage of a chance visit by a graduate actor to a condemned inn that dates back to his time.
