Cam has just completed his residency in internal medicine and he arrives at the home of his two favorite mentors for a small get-together before his graduation the following day. The two men who have fantasized about the young intern are extremely welcoming to Cam tonight and maybe a little too friendly. Cam is sure that the two men have nothing but his best interests at heart, but when their friendly gestures become very friendly, he quickly begins to question the motives of the two men who hold his future in their hands.
Excerpt:
Cam walked in and hugged the two men who had become his buddies.
“This is a very special occasion, Cam, and we must toast to it.” Langdon poured glasses of champagne and handed each man a glass of the bubbly.
“Champagne goes straight to my head,” Cam warned them.
Gavin and Langdon were hoping that it would do exactly that, and that Cam would forget that this night had ever happened once he left here. “This is your night, Cam, and as you know, or perhaps you don’t know, Gavin and I have been watching your every movement with lust and envy as you move inside the thin layer of material we have all come to know and love as scrubs.”
Cam poured himself a second glass of champagne after being taken off guard by these very straightforward words. “No, guys, I didn’t know that.”
“Hey, buddy, we didn’t mean to embarrass you. We’re just being honest. How ‘bout a night with us, buddy, before you head off to your new life?” Gavin added, “We’ll be good, we promise.”
