Sonny never wanted to do anything but write. Being a kept man has allowed him to do nothing more than that for fifteen years. He likes his life. It’s satisfactory. But when he and his wife split, he decides he needs a night job at a slow gas station. He thinks this will make him a little extra money, but not interfere with his writing. He’s shocked to find there’s much more to this little job.
