At first, the Shellerby Research Facility, built in the late 1950s, seemed no different than the other dozens of research facilities that dot the frigid, barren continent of Antarctica. After two suicides and a mysterious plane crash that took the lives of a dozen crew member and scientists, Shellerby was shut down.

Since that time, the place has stood vacant. Now, Captain Riley Scott and his crew, along with his girlfriend and journalist, Samantha “Sam” Bloodworth, arrive at the station to reclaim part of the crashed aircraft.

As Sam works her way deeper into the base she does discovers she is not alone. First, someone or something shoved her hard down a short step of metal stairs–then she hears voices. Sam struggles to find her way back to Riley and the others, but whatever is locked inside the eerie abandoned station with her is clearly malevolent.
