My Purpose For Writing This Book. There have been many books written on this subject. My goal is not to just add to the wealth of information; rather, I want to address the subject from a new perspective, that of someone who has faced the difficult challenge of reconciling her sexual identity with her evangelical faith. I was never satisfied with the stance that I could either embrace my identity as a homosexual or embrace God, but not both. Thus began my quest for Truth, wherever I might be led. Some of you have already decided that the two can never meet. This book is primarily for those of you with at least a glimmer of hope left that the two can truly be integrated. In any case, I hope all of you will read this book thoughtfully and prayerfully. And, whatever the case, I welcome all feedback and/or questions. My email address is [email protected].
