It’s Gonna Rain is a true-to-life story based on the Bible’s book of Revelation. It chronicles the lives of two brothers and their families, opposite in their views on life. The one being a devout Christian and the other more worldly, but not necessarily a bad person, and how Bible prophecy plays out, not only in their lives but for the whole world.

Reminiscent of the days of Noah, the Christian brother (Jesse) finds himself the object of ridicule as he tries to convince his brother (Paul) and others that Bible prophecy was being fulfilled as they lived.

Although many are amazed at the length Jesse would go to, including risking his job for the Word’s sake, people just can’t believe the incredible things Jesse is predicting. Chalking them up as coincidence even as one prophecy after another is fulfilled.

Even Jesse’s wife, though a Christian herself, finds it difficult to conceive these thing really happening in their own lifetime. It is only his nephew Trae, whom Jesse often mentors, who seems to take him seriously. Even as an eight-year-old boy, he seems to have inherited his uncle’s love for God.

The story begins in present time and takes us through the Rapture of the saints of God, through the time of tribulation for all those that are left behind, even through the Battle of Armageddon, all the way to the end of days. “And behold, I make all things new.”
