The trilogy starts in 1855. After gambling the blue diamond ring Jessica Hayes’ husband is murdered by a card shark, Bobbi Forland. Jessica manages to steal it from under his nose. She doesn’t know he planned to cross her path. He wants only one thing from her; the blue diamond. The solid silver guns she owns will be a bonus. A dying thug is asked to help clean up the mess.
