I heard someone once say that we are a generation of excuses. There is some truth in that I cannot deny. If you ask me, I believe we are a generation of fear, and thats why we make excuses. This collection is to show the progress of letting go of things that hold us back from being individuals. Whether we want to admit it or not, it is fear that keeps us from rising to our potential. We are scared to take a chance and be bold; I have come to learn that it doesnt make a difference whether you are like everyone else or the mix- matched color in the crowd. People are always going to have something to say. If you ask me, I would much rather be talked about for being the odd one than to disappear in a crowd. Plus its much more fun! This collection is made up of snapshots of different situations that may occur and that will have you second-guessing yourself. I want nothing more than for it to be guidance for some young girl or even a boy. Realize that you may fall a couple of times, maybe more than some, but no matter what keep pushing along. Dont give up! Let it go and move forward. Of course it wont be easy, and tomorrow is not promised for another chance, but that doesnt mean you cant think positive. At the end of the day, everyone has the advantage.
