This study describes the areas of focus of operations for the Pacific Department of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), identifies key gaps between country and ADB actions, as well as opportunities for scaling up ADB's assistance related to mitigation, adaptation, and associated crosscutting needs. The Climate Change Implementation Plan will evolve through periodic updates to effectively guide ongoing and future programs, technical assistance, and project designs. Going forward, specific climate change interventions will continue to be incorporated into the Country Partnership Strategy and Country Operations Business Plan for each Pacific Developing Member Countries and into the Regional Cooperation Strategy/Regional Operations Business Plan for the Pacific region as a whole.
