Raising a wolf or wolf hybrid is not for everyone. The over fifteen year adventure documented in this book presents both the wonderful and heartwarming episodes and also some of the more difficult aspects of having a wolf in one's home environment. Very little seems to be available on this subject and it is the author's sincere wish that this book will help add to better understanding of these wonderful animals. The reader should obtain a better understanding of the behavioral characteristics of wolves in general and more fully understand why it is often very difficult to manage a fully mature wolf in a home or family environment. This is not a guide on how to do so, rather the message is that most often it is not advisable to obtain a wolf or wolf hybrid as a home companion.
