Memoirs

This book is about the Indian steel industry and a bit of the global steel through the eyes of a veteran of the Indian Public sector steel industry who rose from a management trainee to the Managing Director and the board of SAIL (Steel Authority of India Limited). It also has a glimpse of the Empire of Arcelor Mittal, the company owned by one of the richest Indians at one point of time. The description of dilemma between the PSUs (Public Sector Undertakings) and the private sector and the logic why the Government should not be in business is explained in this book.
