Messages to Our Children is an awe-inspiring book of collective thoughts, words and messages of hope and inspiration to not only our children, but to all children. We share our messages and our stories in hope that "our" children will be inspired to reach for the stars and grab hold of success. Together, we are mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, friends, aunts, uncles, grandparents, god-parents and well-wishers of love and hope for children around the globe. Messages to Our Children seeks to promote a basic sense of oneness in uplifting the family, children and in uplifting the world. The contributing authors for this magnificent project include: Jo Dessaw, Trudy Chaney, Clarence Chaney, Latrice Lauer, Marjorie Hairston, Mary Blythers Farmer, Suzetta M. Perkins, Laurise Laurent-Workman, Camille Williams, Ollie Williams, Nicole Keith, Marlon Keith, Chaplain Anthony Taylor, Simona R. Green, Shevelle Godwin, Lakesha Parker, Alisha Ndiaye, Chaplain Benita Hairston, Tracey Morrison, Brenda L. Brooks, Towanna L. Thomas, Valencia Warren-Gibbs and Alberta Lampkins. About the Project Coordinator Alberta Lampkins is a willing and dedicated advocate for children and adults. She has worked in both Child Protective Services and Adult Services. Alberta founded A.L. Savvy Publications in 2014 after realizing how much she enjoys listening, hearing and reading stories about everyday people.
