Microsoft Excel VBA Codes Are Fun, Simple, and Easy to Learn In One Hour or Less: VBA for Students, Parents, and Professionals (First Edition)

This book is the first of three books to come in a series that is dedicated to making VBA in Microsoft Excel less scary for regular, everyday people.  I’m committed to providing tutorials in a way that will allow my books to be as easily understood as watching a cartoon on your television screen; this is why pictorial examples dominates this book; the images will follow me step by step in the process of writing VBA codes from beginning to end; there are full and complete codes in this book.  My books can be used and understood by teenagers, their parents, professionals, and educators.  My style of tutoring allows readers to see every step of the process for writing VBA codes, so they see just how easy it really is.  My goal is not for you to be able to recite the official names of objects, procedure, statements, etc….  My goal is for you to understand how to write, read, and use VBA codes in your own spreadsheet.  You don’t need to know the official names for something, in order for you to be good at it.  There are musicians that can’t write or read sheet music, but they are masters of their instruments.  There are people that don’t know the official names of architecture, but they can build a mansion, without even knowing how to read or write.  Education must be fun—it must not be boring, tedious, and stressful.  I do my best to make learning as fun as playing a board game with your family and friends.  Trust in you, because you are as capable of learning, while having fun in the process, as you are at doing things that you’ve enjoyed all of your life.  I will use everyday life situations to explain VBA, so you’ll say, “I never thought about it that way!”  The best way to teach and learn is to associate the things that you’re learning or teaching with things that people know best: family, friends, foods, homes, containers, etc...; that’s exactly what I do in this book.  One rule that I have is never to expect people to learn things that are not necessary for performing the tasks at hand.  In other words, you don’t need to know the official medical name for a chronic, recurring headache to know that your head hurts and what you need to take to receive some relief from your headache.  Using computer terminology serves only to impress one’s self and others, but it has absolutely nothing to do with programming or writing computer-based codes.  If you choose to only view the images and codes in this book, it will only take you a few minutes to gain an idea of what spreadsheet tasks the codes will impact; however, if you choose to read, while viewing the images in this book, it will only take you under one hour to complete this entire book.  You’ll learn how to cut data from a single column and paste it to a single row, i.e., you’ll learn how to use the transpose code in VBA.  You’ll learn how to delete or clear content from a range of cells at the same time; you’ll learn how to insert comments into spreadsheets at the same time, or you’ll delete all the comments in the entire spreadsheet at the same time.  You’ll learn how to write codes that includes variables, arrays, Sub, Private Sub, Dim, InputBox, MsgBox, With Selection, With ActivCell, Offset, and much more.  Alright… it’s time to have some fun!!!!
