A simple act of kindness, with the help of a divine hand, moved through the ages into modern times. “Miracle City” is the end product of what Maurine did those many years ago that cemented her memory in the annals of the town, and in the hearts of its citizens. The simple act that she spearheaded was not something that would have been looked upon as the right thing to do during that time in history. All readers of this story will find themselves intertwined in a saga that will make them think of the principles she exhibited as heroic. She was a pathfinder in a confused world.
