This is a collection of short stories about people afflicted with the disease of drug addiction and some of the awful situations they can get themselves into.
In story one, GRADUATION NIGHT, two nights before graduating from rehab a young meth addict forces herself to remember and come to terms with her complicity in the death of her uncle, who died in a meth fire.
In story two, SOMETIMES THEY GO BOOM, a meth lab blows up in a cook’s face.
In story three, JESS AND THE STOLEN X-BOX, a meth cook gives his take on a pill addict mother's relationship with her children.
In story four, PICKIN' PETE STEPPED ON A RAKE, events occur that cause a mentally challenged meth addict to call into question his world view.
And in story five, I JUST LET HER DIE, a young woman grapples with her conscience over the death of her friend.
Also find at the end of this book a bonus chapter from my soon to be released book:
A Girl
A Fetus
And A Monster
