I wished for a better-paid and more relaxed job, but the economy and political situation in Manhattan did not give me a chance to. I was left with no choice but to be contented with what had just been offered.
Being an editor and having to leave the office every evening was damn tiring, but the considerably good pay was worth the stress although I did not have time for a social life.
