She was crying uncontrollably now. I chose the basement, because I knew no noise could be heard from the outside. The chances that the neighbours would hear her, even in the house, was basically nil, but I wanted to be sure. No sound would come from the basement and people would just hear the TV playing in the lounge if they should come to the front door. It was still early evening and we still had a long session in front of us.
"I promise, JP, I will never tell anyone about us...please...I was just trying to get some more attention from you...I would never harm you...please...don't hurt me...don't hurt me..."
