Lucas and Damien.

Before I met my boyfriend’s twin brothers, I’d lived by a certain moral code: stay true to the one you’re with.

That wasn’t tough at school. I spent so much time in the stacks that I hardly ever met any guys (at least, not cute ones). And it was fun going out with my boyfriend for coffee, to study, to make eyes at each other over our laptops.

We hadn’t kissed yet, and I was okay with that--I liked moving slow, or so I thought.

That was until he brought me home for winter break.

Excerpt:

The twins were always together. Tall and built as sturdy trees, they had angular jaws and red hair--gold in the sun--swept sidelong from their foreheads. They had a way of folding their arms, enfolding you with their green eyes, leaning toward you as you talked, that made you feel as if you were at the center of everything. Around them, I was always at least a little wet.

They were nothing like their brother--my boyfriend--John. He was the oldest at twenty, and also the shortest, the skinniest. But he had a carrying laugh and I was a shy, bookish nerd who had never had a boyfriend before. So when he’d asked to date me, I had said yes, and suddenly I had someone’s hand to hold around campus, a guy who’d call with religious fervor: every night, 9pm, to hear about my day.

After a semester of dating, he invited me to come home with him for winter break. That was when I met the twins.

Warning: This is a steamy 3,000-word short story featuring a college girl who discovers she’s not as chaste as she thought--especially when it comes to her boyfriend’s brothers. It features a not-to-be-missed cherry-popping in the shower, and the promise of more to come.
