You have never seen a garden like this.
Bonus content: I've included chapter 1 of my horror novel Fall Leaves and the Black Dragon!
Random excerpt:
I pursued, chopping and stomping as I advanced. The only sound was the swoosh and thud of my machete tearing into vegetables. It was a perplexing scene: there were tall plants like corn and tomatoes everywhere but thriving perfectly underneath that canopy were berries of all sorts: strawberries, raspberries, blackberries. It was all so delicious looking I found myself forcing back the urge to pause and eat. I hacked my way past the corn, splattered through some tomato plants. I was panting; juices were streaming down my machete and sprayed all over my face and clothes. I could feel seeds stuck to my face. I must have looked like a mad murderer. I didn't look good but I pressed forward into some onions.
The onion stems were already on high alert and on the offense as they slashed upward at me from the dirt with green sabers. They popped out of the ground and lashed at me. I smashed many into mushy white pulp underfoot but at last, one managed to slice a line up the back of my jeans. I stumbled away, hopping because it burned to put weight on that leg; I felt the blood running down my leg.
