Nancy Brown… the lone daughter of a peasant plumber, is a new student at Saddle University College in the heart of London. She is a girl who had never had friends, nor close pals or buddies but is always in her own corner, reading or studying at the laboratory.

She suffers from such illusions until one day when she decides to change her looks just to impress him but then it happens that he is not impressed with the change and it teaches her a vital lesson.
